Statement of the International Human Rights Organization
Dated July 2, 2025
Subject: Restructuring the Organization's Regional and International Representation
Based on our moral and legal responsibility, and in light of the unprecedented escalation in human rights violations, the decline in international commitment to UN charters and treaties, and the increasing manifestations of marginalization, impunity, and the lack of accountability, we at the International Human Rights Organization announce the following:
New Strategic Direction:
Within the framework of strengthening the organization's role at the regional and international levels and expanding its field presence, the organization's General Secretariat has decided to adopt a new global geographic structure, dividing the world into strategic regions, each overseen by a regional director appointed according to criteria of competence, integrity, and legal expertise.
Resolution:
Regional Directors will be appointed in all approved geographic regions, according to the following structure: (South America, North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and the Balkans, Middle East, Arabian Gulf, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Africa, South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific, Russia and the Caucasus, Arctic and Global Environment).
Each Regional Director and their team will be subject to the organization's Constitution and core internal protocols, ensuring full adherence to the principles of independence, impartiality, transparency, non-discrimination, and respect for human dignity.
Honorary Ambassadors or National Representatives will also be appointed in each country within the region, depending on the number of countries covered, to enhance local representation and facilitate interaction with communities, official bodies, and civil society.
Desired Objectives:
- Enhancing field monitoring and direct documentation of violations.
- Building effective local and regional partnerships.
- Providing accurate human rights reports and analyses to international bodies.
- Empowering local communities to defend their rights through independent mechanisms.
- Rehabilitating human rights outside of formal frameworks that have often failed to protect victims.
NB : The model for the relationship between the regional directors and the central departments will be attached after consultation with the organization's founder and all the organization's administrative structures.
